Henning Koppel (1918 - 1981)

Henning Koppel (1918 - 1981) was a danish designer, painter and master silver smith, whose work was specializing in jewelry and silver tableware especially.

The Bubi lamp is a re-edition of his original design from 1972 for Louis Poulsen company. Today lamp is produced by Pandul and with low-energy fluorescent light was upgraded for this century. A timeless minimal shape, can't be improved.Sold in the UK though Icons of Denmark.

&Tradition have bought the Arne Jacobsen Bellevue Light back.
The Bellevue Lamp was Jacobsens's first lighting design in 1029.

The House of The Future needed the light of the future. And for that specific purpose, Arne Jacobsen designed the Bellevue Lamp. The exhibition house became a creative playground, just like the Barcelona Pavillon by Mies Van Der Rohe and the Weissenhof Siedlung by Van Der Rohe and Le Corbusier. Here, Jacobsen could experiment and develop new ideas on light. The House of the Future was circular, broken up by sharp straight lines. Similarly, Jacobsen’s Bellevue Lamp combines rounded and straight shapes. And more than anything, the lamp is simple, functional and flexible. Even as an early work, it bears the unmistakable characteristics of Arne Jacobsen design.

The new Arrow fixed wheel gents bike reflects the uncompromising design style, attitude and attention to detail synonymous with all Velorbis bicycles. Speedy, streamlined and slick; the Velorbis Arrow weighs around 12kgs and has a black lugged steel frame, a brown leather sports saddle, brown Brooks leather handle grips, a Sturmey Archer crank set and slim 27mm black tyres. Frame size options include 54cms, 57cms and 61cms.

Since the Velorbis Arrow does not have a rear carrier, Velorbis has also designed a special brown leather messenger bag for extra load capacity.
