Henning Koppel (1918 - 1981)



Henning Koppel (1918 - 1981) was a danish designer, painter and master silver smith, whose work was specializing in jewelry and silver tableware especially.

The Bubi lamp is a re-edition of his original design from 1972 for Louis Poulsen company. Today lamp is produced by Pandul and with low-energy fluorescent light was upgraded for this century. A timeless minimal shape, can't be improved.Sold in the UK though Icons of Denmark.


95%Danish are now representing Ørskov who have The Henning Koppel Melamine Line.
It's both decorative and functional,and today it must be considered a unique and classical design icon. The melamine is food safe and is available in nine colours.

SAS Royal Hotel



The world's first designer hotel! Built from 1956 to 1960.

Radisson SAS Royal Hotel was also the first Copenhagen skyscraper.
Room 606 still features original Jacobsen furniture and fittings.

Alberto K restaurant is located on the top floor and also features original Arne Jacobsen furniture.
